Word for the month=overwhelm
Overwhelmed with:
*emotions of excitement, frustration, and doubt
*negative thinking
*second guessing the decision
I was feeling so proud of myself for being obedient and taking the step of faith and launching into entrepreneurship. But then, negative thinking and self- doubt started to creep in. “Wait, did I do the right thing?” I asked myself over and over again. Although I know that I am walking in purpose, this was a difficult month. It was NOT what I expected it be. I did not expect it be easy, but I did not expect it to be this difficult either.
But God is so faithful.
Through it all God has been my strength.
Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
1 Chronicles 16:11 (NIV)
Through it all God has been my provider.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 (NIV)
Through it all God has been my comforter.
May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant. Psalm 119:76 (NIV)
Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in our emotions that we forget to see the big picture. The big picture in all this is that although that I can see it right now, it will work out for my good.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (ESV)
My dear sisters, God is on our side. We just need to hold on to his promises.
I am ready to see what is in store for me in the month of March! Stay Tuned!
In the mean time, keep chasing YOUR goals and dreams!
HIS Love and MINE,
Shemeca
