Fighting Through the Tough Times

Welcome to the blog make over I’m so happy that you are here and sharing this moment with me. I thought that this moment would be appropriate to just share a few words of encouragement.

Can I be transparent and say that the past few months have been tough. But, do you know that it is in these tough times that God gives us strength, wisdom, endurance, perseverance, and guidance? It is in these times that we must cling to Him, and not run from Him. The tough times are not the times to give up, quit, and throw in the towel. It is in the tough times that we must times that we must search scripture and write it down on it on our hearts. Below are a few scriptures to help you get through those tough moments.

When it feels like your world is falling apart, God will always step in right on time. God’s time is not our time.

8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV)

When it hurts, He will comfort you.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18 (ESV)

When stress and worry starts to settle in, take a deep breath and know that God is taking care of you.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

When it feels like your back is against the wall, look up to Him. He is the source of all your help.

1) I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2) My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV)

When you feel like He is not there, He IS.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)

It can seem hard to feel God near you when you are going through times, but that is when you must rely on your faith.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (ESV)

We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)

Even when feels like you can not or will not make it through to the other side, YOU WILL, sooooo just… Keep walking. Keep hoping. Keep pressing. God is faithful.

Tough times do not last forever. I know it sounds cliché. But the reality is, that they do not. You can and you will get through this. So just know that as I encourage you, I am encouraging myself. Together and with God’s strength, Spirit, and Power we will make it through the rest of 2018 with a BANG!!

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.Isaiah 40:29 ESV

I am cheering for you!

HIS Love and Mine,

Shemeca
